For minor scratches in your laminate/SPC floor, there are scratch/repair color pencils that are great for quick and easy touch-ups for laminate, spc/lvp or wood flooring. Using carpet mats in front of all doorways and felt pads under all furniture legs is recommended to protect your new floors. Never drag heavy objects over the floor.

LVP/SPC floating floors can be installed on top of many types of existing floors, such as hardwood, tile and vinyl. During measurements, it will be inspected to make sure it is suitable to install over the existing floor. SPC/LVP cannot be installed on top of another floating floor.

How can I repair a chip in my floor?

To repair a chip on the floor and if the chip is smaller than an inch in diameter, using a color fill putty will resolve the matter. For a bigger damage, will probably require replacing the plank. Depending on the area where the plank is located, will require more than that plank to be removed and reinstalled.

What is the difference between porcelain and ceramic tile?

Porcelain is made from fine kaolin clay and is denser and more refined. Ceramic is crafted from semi-coarse clay and are less dense. Porcelain absorbs less water and ceramic absorbs more water. Porcelain is harder and more durable as ceramic is softer. Porcelain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and ceramic is best for indoor due to weather sensitivity. Tile floors can be mop-cleaned, and from time to time, the grout will require scrubbing and extra sealer. If you have unglazed ceramic tile (which is more slip-resistant than glazed tile), you’ll need to clean any spills up quickly, since the material can absorb stains. Since most ceramic tiles are glazed, this isn’t usually a problem.
